What is there in the field of Computer Science for someone who is not that good in competitive programming?
-
I am a CSE student from decent NIT.I can study the subjects taught in the class very well , have a decent GPA of 8.5+ . I am not that good in competitive programming and is not much active in spoj/codechef and get disappointed when I see my standings here . I like doing research projects and have done a couple of them. But I see people who bag good jobs are mostly competitive programmers. Most of them don't worry about the subjects taught in the course and screw their CGPA's . So my main concern is this field only for competitive programmers.
