What makes Dropbox different to other file sharing sites like RapidShare?
-
Aside from having a desktop application and robust technology. Why are some file sharing sites labelled rogue sites when in theory they all have the same business model as Dropbox? http://torrentfreak.com/rapidshare-fires-75-of-its-staff-after-rogue-site-revamp-bites-130519/

Answer:
Most of us are concerning about the security of cloud storage providers. And most of file sharing sites such as RapidShare, Hotfiles, etc. are not designed with security in mind so that we can save our important data in their data centers. Dropbox always think about security and they have a very clear message in the terms and privacy.
