Is providing tutorial URL allowed?

Why can't Google allow me to choose a custom url for my Google+ profile?

• I got a message today that says "Get a custom URL for your profile", but Google+ has already decided what my custom URL should be and I can't even change it. How is it a custom URL when I am not allowed to customise it? Is there any way I can get URL of my choice?

  Google or any site who may introduce this feature anytime, can't let you solely make your custom url. The reason is ambiguity. Lets say your name is Jason Smith. You may want +JasonSmith or +JasonS or +JSmith or simply +JS to be your URL. But the problem is, you are not alone with the name Jason Smith and others with the same name may also want this. So, in this case, giving you the right to choose your URL would result on two things 1> being biased to you, for only giving you the opportunity 2> your choice maybe the same what was chose by someone else, resulting in a clash of data vlues at some point of time. See my name. Vajrasar Goswami. I have yet to see someone else with this name. So I get usernames easily everywhere. vajrasar @gmail @yahoo @hotmail @outlook...everywhere. The reason is - no one else claimed that username, so no duplicate entries of username data. Now, another matter is - google already chose your current google name as the url and now wants you to add something else to it, to make it unique. I do not have any idea of why google opted this method, but it seems logical as people are likely to know you by your G+ name on G+, so why not start your URl with that instead of something else you have in your mind.
