If someone's intention is to do an MSc in Computer Science from a North American university to get a job there, how important is the ranking of the university?
-
I am not a resident of North America.
-
Answer:
Rather than just ranking of the University,I think the reputation and the strength of the program is more important. There are many mid-low ranked universities whose specific department is particularly good and they have excellent reputation in industry. You can see where their alumni currently work now and what's the overall job scenario. Hope this will help you.
