What is life like at a big traditional college or university?

What is the thing you miss the most from your college/university life and why?

    I'd say the two things I miss from college most are the activities and my room mates. It's really fun to go to the many activities that a Division 1 college provides, such as exciting games and concerts. The second thing I miss is my room mate. Sometimes people luck out and get really great room mates, and I was definitely one of those lucky people. My room mate and I are best friends so I miss being able to do things together like going to get dinner most nights and watching TV. I'd say the biggest thing that changes after college is that you can't just go do fun things like the activities I talked about, and it's lonely not to have your room mates anymore. When you're an adult out of college, the opportunities to go to exciting basketball games and cheap concerts are fewer and farther between, whereas when you're in college you can just go do stuff because there's so much to do. As I said, the other thing I miss are my room mates. For me, my room mates and I became like a little family, and they were the ones that asked me about my day over dinner every night. It may seem silly to some, but if you like your room mates, it's just sad when you have to go back to living alone.
