My niece is in her 4th year of her Masters programme in Biotechnology in India. She wishes to pursue her PhD in one year. Which universities should she be looking at?

Answer:
Most top US universities (especially Berkeley) are great. UK- Cambridge, Oxford, Imperial are doing some breakthrough research as well. Some really good research institutions with great academics and resources are also in Switzerland and Germany. Really depends on the topic and what plans post-PhD in academia or industry are.
