How to remove email addresses?

How can I completely remove my past/old email addresses from PayPal? (used for sending and receiving money in the past)

• Is there any way to delete by myself, or request PayPal to delete, several of my past email addresses from my personal account, and their system? I did remove the email addresses from the email list but I still can find those email addresses -that I no longer use- on the "filter" "payments received from xxxxxxx" "payments sent from xxxxxx" So do I have the right to completely erase those emails addresses that I have not used for more than one year, perhaps even two or three!

  Where you are seeing your old emails is in the past transactions where you've shared that information with the merchants. All the data associated with the past transactions remains the same for recording/bookkeeping purposes - only you as the payer, and the merchant as the receiver of payment in that transaction can see that information. (this is no different than the old receipts that I have in my file cabinet with my previous home addresses and telephone numbers - they just provide information that was exchanged at the time of that transaction - nothing more.)
