C++ isn't great for anything other than high-end games or business software / databases, and the JVM won't run until you've written your kernel & drivers in C. However, if you meant to say 'What's the best language to learn to get on in the Indian market?' - India has more Java programmers than there are stars in the universe, Oracle DBA's too. Pick somthing unique, like Scala or Clojure (very good choice) which run on the JVM. You can learn Java alongside them, since all the java std lib is available. Then you're not competing with 5,000 indian Java geeks that have allready been doing it for 10 years, and you'll get a much more interesting job.
