I have an internet connection which uses a usb wimax modem to connect. It uses it's own software to connect to the internet. Now i want to share my internet through a wifi router. I have already connected an ethernet cable on the WAN option on the router and to the pc, but how do i setup from then? How can i make the router share the USB modem wimax internet connection as an wireless connection through the router? My Router is TP LINK WR740n and the Modem is of MediaTek. Picture of the router and modem are given below.

Hi, Ive tryed through router but it worked without it. I just used RJ45 cable to connect pcs. To connect 2pcs lan via rj45 you need set TCP/ipv4. For host pc with win8 I used 192.168.0.2 ip address (I think it doesn't really matter), subnet 255.255.255.0, default gateway 192.168.0.3. For the other pc I set 192.168.0.3 ip address, subnet 255.255.255.0, default gateway 192.168.0.2. For both DNS server addresses should be the WiMax provider DNS addresses. You can check it on the WiMax connection properties. After that both pcs should be on and the host pc connected to wimax. Share the connection to lan and it will work.

So, no one actually answered his question. He said he has a USB WiMAX modem, which he wants to connect to a wireless router to provide Internet access to a wifi network. The WiMAX modems don't allow communications between devices (like say a printer with wifi and a laptop), which is why someone might want to have a real wireless router that can provide wireless communication between local devices, and they would also want the wireless router to be capable of bridging the WiMAX hotspot to the local devices. Would love to see a real answer to this. So far I have seen some wireless routers by TP link, and a few other companies that can bridge 3G/4G connections via USB. I'm not sure if that will work for your WiMAX. The problem I am facing is that they don't appear to support wifi printing.
