Settings options not showing up on Sub Menu page in WordPress plugin?

Is there a WordPress plugin that allows you to make posts (and other post types) open in a Lightbox-style pop-up window, rather than as a new page?

  • I am currently 'converting' a site to WordPress (I enclose 'converting' in quotes as of course by 'converting a site', I mean 'building a new WordPress site that looks and works a lot like the non-WordPress site it's replacing') and the client wants to retain one particular feature of the old site, that is, when certain posts (and on the new site, this will not just include normal news posts, but also custom post types too) are opened, they appear in a Lightbox-style pop-up window, rather than simply opening as a normal page or post would. Is there a plugin that allows you to do this? I've seen a few in the Plugin Directory that suggest that they do this, but most only allow you to create new content that they will display, and almost all haven't been updated for over a year.

    Have you tried codecanyon. If it's not on there you may need to find a developer - however that will probably blow your budget right out of the water!

You could use framework like foundation to support light box pop up and pull the content of the post through using an iframe, not really advisable. I would search for an Ajax based wp theme and tweak it to load content in a pop up instead of on the same page. Edit Check this out http://wordpress.org/plugins/advanced-ajax-page-loader/
