How do you monetize a community site? If you have a community of developers/programmers, particularly recent college graduates, how can you monetize your community? What business model would possibly make sense

If I understand you correctly, you want to monetize your community and turn it into a 2-sided market place effectively. Think about what Facebook did. They provided something of interest to attract a specific target market to their site, and then turned these return visitors into a market for others. So how can you provide value for both sides ? Try to find the intersect between: - What do programmers want ? (exposure, learning, money, etc) - Is anything sticky about your site, will your visitors return frequently ? - Who wants programmers and why ? Can you e.g.  help the selection process along or vet the expertise level ?  - Can you gamify the site or process ? - Can you e.g. start crowd-coding ? Eg organisations come to your site with specific real-world / practical programming challenges where virtual teams are competing for a prize ?
