Why did Apple remove the ability to quickly post to Twitter and Facebook from Notification Center in iOS 7?
-
They expanded this feature in OS X Mavericks, but removed it in iOS 7. This was a very useful feature, why would Apple remove it?
-
Answer:
My guess is that both Twitter and Facebook prefer people to make those transactions through their apps. Bypassing the app might be convenient for users, but it is inconvenient for companies who wish to capture the attention of millions of users.

I have a feeling that Apple did not think iOS 7 through and through. There are many things that still look unpolished about iOS 7, and many things to be fixed. I hope they add those features in the Control Center in future updates. They were really useful, it's sad Apple removed such useful features like "Tap to Post/Tweet" from the Notif Center and "Search the Web/Wikipedia" from the Spotlight.
