Even though diego is in form of his life, is real madrid missing iker given the kind of control he had over the discipline of the defenders for better balance?

  Iker means more than a goal keeper in RM. He is the captain who guides the team heading for success. He surely knows much about his team and even better than the coach since he has spent all his years in this club. Nobody knows how much he love RM and how eager he wants to fight for his club. The problem is that Perez does not want the team to rely on him that much. The spiritual leader should be himself rather than anyone. It seems that his words can be less powerful if Iker always has such a high reputation. What he wants is a pure high-qualified goal keeper, and that is what Diego actually is. what makes things more complex is that Diego does such a good job and you can say nothing about him. Maybe Iker can have the same good performance as what he did before his injury, there is no reason to put such a player like Diego on the bench. It is unfair not letting Iker go on the pitch. He deserves a place at the first list. Maybe the best for him is to transfer to another good club, and I do think he can restart his career and regain our respect.
