How To Verify CVV Online?

I'm working on a mobile wallet which only transfers money from one user to another. I want to store credit card numbers and CVV numbers. Can I do that?

You cannot store any card data without PCI compliance. Plus, you cannot store CVV even if you're PCI compliant. You need PCI compliance not only to store card data but also to "process" it in any form. Or do I need PCI and not store CVV ? That should work. How does apple and amazon do it? Apple and Amazon don't have to follow the same rules as applicable to Indian merchants and payment gateways (and any payment processor for that matter). For instance, Apple can allow you to do true 1-click payment even if you're customer of an Indian bank. Actually, the only thing really needed for the transaction to get processed is the card number. All other data has more to do with reducing risk and regulatory reasons (which are in place to control fraud) rather than a technical requirement. But usually, card number and expiration date is required at minimum at any payment processor.
