What is the difference between individual and person?

What is that part of the brain that enables a fortune teller to predict the future of a person? Is there a difference in the brain of a fortune teller compared to an individual who doesn't have the ability?

  • Answer:

The section of your brain that allows you to predict the future does not exist.  A good fortune teller is just good at picking up on cues from people and leading them into "predicting" their own future.  Really all they do is lie to you and guess simple things about you.

The same as anyone else, intuition. If you're looking for science proofing in fortune telling, you will lose your bet. Yoda still had the best answer for the ability to see into the future.

Fortune tellers cannot predict the future, otherwise they would be lottery winners,  they would have foreseen the 9/11 attacks, etc. If you want to know what they actually are doing and how they do it, read up on cold reading: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cold_reading

You do realize that fortune tellers are frauds don't you? Google  Penn and Teller. They have several youtube videos showing how the scam of fortune telling is done. So to answer your question, there is no part of the brain responsible.
