What's the difference between a domain pointing to an IP and URL frame pointing to an IP?
-
Used namecheap to buy a domain name. I have an EC2 instance on an ip such as 1.11.11.111/folder. I can't seem to point to 1.11.11.111/folder using an A (Address) record type. It only accepts pure IP addresses? e.g. 1.11.11.111. I'm currently using a URL frame instead. Are there any disadvantages? Is it possible to use an A record to point to an IP address' folder?
