How I can create timer in classic asp?

Which programming language(s) can be used to create a multiple choice test with timer?

  • I  want to create software  which runs in client windows systems to test  multiple choice question with a timer,when time ends it should evaluate  test and send score, name and details entered by user, to server in  "lan". Which programming language can be used and how can it be done?

On the backend you could use Ruby(Rails), Python(Django) or PHP. You'll have to use JavaScript for frontend. Alternatively, you could use a JavaScript library like jQuery to avoid the hassle of Vanilla JavaScript.

Absolutely agree with Deepanshu. That's the combination we used in TestVita (with Python(Django) rather than Ruby(Rails)). Very scalable.... But for your requirement though, if it's just Multiple choice with timer to be used within a LAN as you mention, you can always use any of the readymade systems rather than build one unless you are doing it for the purpose of learning.
