-
Considering Mobile Marketing in India isn't as advanced as in some other countries like China, how can Indian companies use this medium effectively in the Social Media Marketing campaigns.

Answer:
I'll give some pointers : 1. Use your brand name/site address as your status on things like Whatsapp and other IMs. 2. Keep your profiles updated with information on your business and your position. 3. Generate conversations on your status updates through posting something specific to your industry and tell people about how you're solving a a problem. 4. You can also create groups of interested individuals and talk/discuss and share your businesses' success, problems and plans for future. 5. Don't forget to ask everyone in your list who you think would be interested in your product to see your website and pages and give you feedback. This can work as a conversation starter and make people remember you for a long long time.

Mobile marketing.. Have not given a try so, but have heard of certainties. Hope this type of instant messaging would aid the businesses to keep in touch with their customers at once and to drive with instant results. Besides there are much more to say: - Easier to promote or advertise either its a text message or the images. - It's supposed to be a form of direct marketing - You'd be able to cover up the mass communities, as people would be able to read through your message than giving a click to their email. Asides there are certain cons that can still be limiting the instant messaging say privacy issues, other features as like OS platform, screen size of your mobile and PC gets varied. This certainly gets with a major difference in the Click rates, I believe. Having this as a part of the marketing strategy can aid, but not not the major. Instead, the other marketing strategies should also be taken up.

Instant messaging can be a great tool especially in providing customer care support. Telling potential customers about service/products is a viable option. It can also be used to sort out small queries or issues from accumulating.
