Self-Publishing: What are some good strategies to market an erotic ebook?

• I've written an erotic eBook (which you can find here if you're interested: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00I4GXCIY) To protect my privacy, I wrote it under a pen name so I can't promote it to my few friends or social media followers who might be interested without giving away my identity. What other strategies can I use to get people to read it?

  The answer: Create another FB page and Twitter account, and any other account you can think of using your Pen Name. Start following other writers in your genre. Join Goodreads and tell people about your books there. Join Facebook groups for erotica writers and reviewers. Ask people to review your book in exchange for reviews of their work. The problem for you is that no one knows about your book. People won't read a book they don't know exists. Try a blog tour or book tour. You can find indie book promoters online, and for $100 you can get a week long book tour. People will sign up to post, promote, review and talk about your book on their social media sites in exchange for a free copy of your work. Host a giveaway. Start a giveaway with Rafflecopter, then promote the hell out of it on Twitter and Facebook. Make sure people know who you are, even if your name is fake. The key, is just to get out there, and post your name in as many places as you can. Generate the buzz, then the sales will come.
