I recently took GRE. Got 330/340 after preparing for 20 days. I   got 170/170 in Quant and 160/170 in Verbal. I learned words using  Barron's 1100 words android application and Word power made easy(Norman   Lewis). Barron's 1100 app link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=fightingpit.barrons1100 Word power made easy: Buy the book, it's very cheap. I   learned words from only these two sources and almost all the words on   actual exam were covered in these two sources. Make sure that you do not  simply cram the meanings. Try to understand the context. I   think  only learning these two sources in their entirety is sufficient   for  building a decent vocab for in GRE. I got a 113/120 in TOEFL too  by  only  these too sources. If you have time, go for Magoosh flash  cards  App and  learn only first two levels, leave the advanced one. One   important part for preparation is to be able to apply what you have   learned , for that you need a lot of practice. Buy  Manhattan 5 pounds   book. It has a lot for questions for practice. After  learning the   vocabulary, practice the questions from Manhattan book. Put  more   emphasis on RCs and Paragraph completion.  For a good GRE    score, one advice would be to maximize score in Quant. I used Barron's    GRE book for revising basic mathematics concepts and used Manhattan 5    pounds for practice. Do not forget to prepare for the essay part,    otherwise you will get a awful 3 like me ! Good Luck for your exam. Note:    Even tough I got good scores, I have decided that that I will not go    for Masters as I an not really sure about my goals and expectations  for   and after Masters. I came to conclusion that I was just blindly    following the crowd.

I came across this beautiful android game to increase your Vocab - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.madguy.hangman&hl=en It has a separate category for Vocab using which you can learn antonyms, synonyms and even the sentences using the word. Must try for everyone preparing for the GRE.
