Why is Mount Kilimanjaro snow covered?

Answer:
Mount Kilimanjaro is snow covered, because it snows there and the snow does not melt fast enough.Further explanation:A big mountain reaching up into the troposphere causes an increase in precipitation. In the lower part of the mountain, it rains, In the upper part of the mountain, the clouds condensing around got mostly glaciated and therefore the precipitation takes the form of snow and graupel. At high altitudes, the absolute temperature of the air is lower. Lower temperature of air leads to slower melting of the fallen snow. Once there is a continuous snow cover on the top of the mountain, increased albedo of the surface leads to slower heating of the top of the mountainThis results in Mount Kilimajaro maintaining its snow top even during the seasons with very little precipitation.
