How do I take care of scars made from mosquito bites?
-
I get scars from scratching mosquito bites all the time. And to make things worse, I pick on the scab. And now I have dark scars all over my legs. What can I do to get rid of these? And how do I use concealer to hide them? Thanks :)

Answer:
You have learned a great secret - picking scabs or any lesion will cause scarring. That is why we advise people with pimples not to pick at them. But don't feel bad - picking can be fun and is hard to avoid. Many people do it. It is just not a good idea. If the scars are less than two weeks old, then Retin-A with Bare Skin Care Activator might help. But the best way would be to see a good cosmetic surgeon for the best way to treat these - IPL or laser might be necessary, or even a chemical peel. This answer is not a substitute for professional medical advic...
