What are good printers to replace an Okidata impact printer with?

The first thing to determine is whether you still need an impact printer. The most common reason would be printing multipart forms. These are usually carbonless sandwich forms with 2, 3, or more sheets that are all printed at once. If your work flow needs those forms, you will be shopping for another impact printer, probably a dot matrix.
