What medical schools are in Michigan?

What are students' experiences at information schools (Michigan, UNC, Pitt)?

• I'm looking for some insight into graduate programs in information science from current grad students, alums, and current information professionals. My specific interests are in information retrieval and data/text mining. I've been admitted to three schools (UNC Chapel Hill, Michigan, and Pittsburgh) and am having a difficult time narrowing down a decision about where to attend. Any insight into what working with faculty is like, job preparation and prospects after earning your Masters degree at one of these institutions, as well as overall culture of the school and university would be greatly appreciated. Even better if anyone can compare and contrast the schools from visiting experiences. Thanks in advance for reading. PS I've already looked into the US News and World Report Rankings for Information and Library Science programs and found it pretty useless. It seems to operate under the assumption that students only attend these schools with an eye to pursuing work in librarianship, which is seriously misleading. Thanks again.
