How to drag image over different layout?

Looking for markdown text editor with drag/drop image insert (auto-upload)?

  • I use Notational Velocity for keeping notes. I love the speed and simplicity but I'd like to make adding images easier and less relient on a local file system. I've tried to use Evernote but it's just too slow and complicated. The process of adding an image would be; - Drag and drop image into document. - Image is auto uploaded to an online file host (dropbox, imgur, dropmark etc). - App creates markdown with url of uploaded image.

A simple and nice online markdown editor (online because it's much easier) is https://stackedit.io/. It has the type of capability youare looking for, and a slew of other features. It's one of the most used markdown editors out there.

As far as I know, Atom now has a package https://github.com/mark-hahn/auto-host-markdown-image  for the usecase you mentioned.I think this function is essential for writing blogs or notes. I am wondering why this has not been provided by other editors.
