Which is a better minor to go along with accounting?

Bsc Economics and finance or Bsc Accounting and finance, which one is better to go with?

  • Better as in which combination provides you with vast opportunity and a great exposure? Which of these wouldn't limit someone to just one or two departments? And which one is great for someone who wants to get started with their own business after an year of two for experience? Plus which one has a wide scope all over the world? Which degree would provide one with higher pay, fame, success, style and PR? Not interested in banking.

Better as in which combination provides you with vast opportunity and a great exposure? BSc - accounts and finance Which of these wouldn't limit someone to just one or two departments? B Sc accounts and finance And which one is great for someone who wants to get started with their own business after an year of two for experience? B Sc accounts and finance Plus which one has a wide scope all over the world? BSc Accounts & Finance After all that talking you have come the real question.  If YOU are asking this question for your self... you need to look at the world in a different way instead of the way we dreamed about or in a way we want it about. Which degree would provide one with higher pay, fame, success, style and PR? My answer is " any degree" - when it comes to higher pay, success, style and PR - you need just any degree but you should know: 1. How to select the right job 2. How to get yourself recognized 3. How to hold yourself till you find right time to hit where it will break 4. How to handle the people like managers, colleagues and assistants and then how to make them our tools for our progress. 5. How to get the fame before you start your real journey 6. How to make the first move. 7. How to sustain the initial success without getting eaten by that success. Rules : Never regulate or try to regulate yourself in the initial days. I mean you don'r try to build boundaries like " I dont want bank job" things.  Because every job needs creativity and innovation and who ever shows that they will be instantly recognized. Search like eagle - there is a say " Eagle is a patient bird" You need to be patient till you get the right chance to show your worth. Learn practice and read books and understand the value of innovation and creativity.

Accounting and Finance. But if you're really a go-getter you could probably swing all three given that in most programs these courses have a fair bit of overlap in requirements.

I think BSc Economics and Finance would be a better option given what you are looking for after the degree . Economics would give you a wider perspective. Also, I think after graduation in BSc, it would open up more opportunities globally.

I would definitely recommend Economics and Finance. Accounting is something that is fairly easily learned on your own. If you major in Economics, you can pick up accounting. If you major in accounting, you will likely miss out on a good understanding of how economies work, which is central to a career in finance (or even starting your own business). You also want to have some balance in terms of theoretical and vocational skills. Will finance will give you good vocational training, economics will give you a strong theoretical grounding to support further understanding and learning.
