What are the best places to visit in Austria?

  • Im looking at places such as Zell Am See and Lake Wothersee. But I am visiting Austria in late March which is towards the end of winter. I fear the lake is at its most beautiful during Autumn months in August and thus I may be missing out on the best part. I have the same worry about visiting Salzburg too. Will the scenery in late March be full of white snow and grey clouds? Or will I be able to savour the lush greenery in good sunlight?
