Have thrift shop sales at places like Goodwill increased since the release of the song "Thrift Shop"?

I was at a thrift shop this weekend. A shop that benefits local hospice in the area. It was packed! I mean packed! They also hold silent auctions and people were signing up for that left and right. I think it's just a sign of the times right now. The economy is what is pushing people to thrift shops. I have always shopped at them just because I don't like the idea that I am contributing to possible child labor in other countries. I realize I cannot get around this all together and would prefer not to be a direct consumer of those products. If I can be an "indirect consumer" and buy second hand, at least I have re-purposed something.
