How to set up a driver for my PC?

I want to set up a PC for 4K, with the Asus 4K Monitor. I'm having trouble figuring out what components to get. What video card do I need to get 60 FPS 4K with a good experience (no tearing between monitor sides, no "blank screen until the driver loads", etc)? Are any of them ready?

    Anything that supports DisplayPort 1.2 natively should allow you to plug and play with your 4k monitor without setting up display groups, but there's still the possibility of tearing between the halves.  Because of bandwidth limitations on current transport protocols (DP and HDMI), both on the card and monitor, they show up as 2 monitors without a bezel between them, and you create either an Eyefinity (AMD) or Surround group (Nvidia) to generate a single desktop.  Hope that helps! I'm into building my own (and other's) PCs since the '80s. The best advice I can give you is to get parts that are the best bang for the buck. When looking at components, you'll see that the sweet point is at the 70% to 80% of the top priced parts. When you get the most expensive component in a category you pay an extra ~25% more for very little additional performance. The only exception is mass storage, specifically SSD.  Hard drives have gotten bigger over time, but they are lagging in performance improvements. SSDs being a relatively "new" technology, leaped ahead in speed. An Extra $200 on a SSD (replacing a hard drive) will returned many folds of performance, compared with adding the $200 on better CPU or better Memory...
