  • Answer:

In cell A1 you type in the date, in cell B1 you type in the period in months and in cell C1 you write the formula =EDATE(A1,6). The 6 inside the bracket is the month. Suppose if the subscription period is for 2 year, you type in 24 instead of 6. You will get the answer. Make sure that the format of the cell C1 is set to date format. To do that you right click on C1, choose FORMAT CELLS option and in the number tab select the date option and then choose the date format type as per your choice but I would advice you to select the last option after you select the DATE option in the number tab. By doing this you find the result you want. I assume that 1st Row of your worksheet is having headers like Start Date, Period/Month and End Date, so your data starts from 2nd Row. Copy and paste the below formula in C2 cell =IF(A2="","",DATE(YEAR(A2),MONTH(A2)+B2,DAY(A2))) Drag the C2 cell formula to the remaining cells of Column-C based on the A & B Column data. Select the Column-C and format it as Date by doing Right Click>>Format Cells>>Number>>Category>>Date>>Type>>select your desired date type. Change the cell reference A2 in the above formula to your cell reference, if required. In cell A1 you type in the date, in cell B1 you type in the period in months (1-12) and in cell C1 you write the formula =EDATE(A1,6). The 6 inside the bracket is the month.
