How To Create A Forum?

How can I create a personal/business Q&A forum similar to Quora, but without the need to log in to its collaborators? so far the best for me is with Google Docs but not exactly a forum...

  • my team and me were using (1st) Evernote to collaborate, however this solution needed evernote accounts (free and premiums depending on the power of users), then we started using (2nd) Disqus, however it is public by default plus need an account or singing on with facebook/gmail..., so some people want to add anonymous comments and other people don't want to sign in new services (Disqus account) or link Disqus with their facebook/gmail... Then we started using (3rd) Google docs, so far the best I have to say, however there are 2 problems, prob1- There is no a native way to create a forum or QA as it is just a document, said this, the options are: 1-either every single user can not edit the text, 2- every user can edit the text entirely (so even delete or modify the question and or responses of others _like a wiki solution_) 3- every user can add comments wich is the best option but that bring us to the problem number 2- because they just straight comments every user have the option to "resolve" the comments that menas deleting them... Thanks, I will be happy to collaborate with you on this :)

Would need a little more detail on your idea but take a look at what we are doing in http://www.pubble.co/. Pubble helps you to build Live Q&A Communities right on top of your site. If you don't want people to sign in to post, you can just disable authentication. Hope this helps.

Our Q&A platform Answerbase allows you to set up how much information the users provide about themselves when submitting questions or answers. The least is an email address so they get notified by the system upon updates and those users are labeled guest users. Does this satisfy your needs?
