Apache Maven: Is Fuse ESB dependency management flawed?
-
For instance, it's not quite easy to using Maven dependency directly with Fuse. In some case the version can get mixed up.
-
Answer:
Here's how I proceed in order to have the same deps in my fuse features as the maven ones: * Make a superpom listing all the dependencies and transitives ones plus their version in the dependencymanagement section, all listed deps have an exclusion on *. * Then, in my feature module (a child of the parent one) I list all the needed deps and their transitive ones on the dependency section. * Finally, I just import the feature module on the business one so that all's good and up to date...
