Excel chart problem
-
I am trying to create a chart. I was thinking that it should be a bar chart, but after 8 hours (literally) of working on this, maybe a fresh new set of eyes can tell me if I am going at this the wrong way. Here's the situation.... I have four databases with a certain number of files within each database "enabled". I want to show a monthly progress?on how many of these are being enabled, with the goal of enabling all of them. Therefore my data sets include: Month Database 1 total # Database 1 enabled # Database 2 total # Database 2 enabled # Database 3 total # Database 3 enabled # Database 4 total # Database 4 enabled # What I was initially hoping for was that I could put 4 stackable columns per each month, One for each db. Each column should be divided into two colors. The enabled # of files, and the total #. I've attempted to make an example by using the draw function to show you what I am looking for. I am not married to the idea of using a different chart, I just don't know what I should be using with this # of data. Thank you for your help.

Answer:
Hello again, I'm revising my answer. I apologize, I was looking at this some more, as you didn't respond (I don't think) to my last answer, where I offered a screenshot of what I thought you might be referring to. Since then I realized, that probably wasn't it. However, I believe this is what you are after: http://img29.imageshack.us/img29/8529/testjh.png If this looks right, email me and I can send it to you. I have the sheet ready as well. Thanks Isaac email: ipis0rs at yahoo dot com Just change the zero to the letter O
