Is there a way to create a kinetic typography video using Photoshop Elements?

I'm a youth leader wanting to make a scriptural typography video for a presentation and was just curious, as I would like to use software I already have if possible. After Effects is expensive : /

Photoshop is not a video editing app. It has an animation timeline built in but its animation capabilities are limited to simple gif images. The PS Elements is a simplified version of Photoshop and I'm not even sure whether it has a timeline. Maybe you should try installing a 30-day, free trial version of After Effects or search for educational licenses of AE (for non-commercial use). These are a lot cheaper than regular Adobe apps. Why? It is so overused. Holy crap, if you don't have any ideas, fly type around for 10 minutes. We do a lot of ministry videos. Keep it simple and just tell compelling stories. Nobody wants to read the Bible more because the type moves quickly. Its actually really hard to perceive moving type. Apple's Motion is cheap and does the same thing as AE. There are plenty of free templates around for Motion with kinetic type.

Using what you have, you could design slates in Photoshop and use PowerPoint, Google Slides or something similar to animate between the slides.Not the cleanest solution, but one composed out of limited resources.
