What are the best ways to find the perfect job?

Talking to people in the industry and experience Most people (including myself when I decided to be a programmer) don't put any serious effort into learning what a job is really like. You should be able to find interviews online from people from almost any profession. If it is too positive, then you should read another one. However, you should also try to meet someone in the industry too, so that you can ask about the questions that matter to you in more depth. Of course, the best way to assess fit is to actually try it. Some jobs require years of qualifications before this is possible, but consider other similar jobs or just other jobs in the industry.

Career Development.    You don't walk into the perfect job; both you and the job need to develop over time.   1) Know your own skills and strengths 2) Learn what is out there -in depth (as Chris Leong says) 3) Network everybody and everything as a knowledge base 4) Know how to  research, approach and apply when the opportunity comes along (Social media makes that easier these days)   Then develop your own talents in areas you like best - never stop learning.

It's time to stop listening to people who tell you that you cannot do something. Replace these negative thoughts with positive emotions to instil self belief in yourself.Finding what you're really interested is also harder than you may think. You may be keen on things that you have never properly explored, so grasp any opportunities that you get to try something new. Do not close yourself off to anything or consider it out of bounds, as that will only hinder you from reaching the objectives you have set yourself.
