Does iOS 7 provide an API to record only the caller's voice in a phone call?
-
If not, is there an API in iOS 7 to record a phone call? The caller or the receiver will be certainly informed that the conversation will be recorded. Does that help?
-
Answer:
No. The answer to the edited question is again no. In fact, let alone Apple, I don't think you'd be able to do that on any platform. You can however bring a normal audio recording app in front and start recording audio while the call is still on. That should work. But there is no way you can record just the caller's sound (or the receiver's sound) in a phone call without them knowing.
