Where to download a free wireless network utility?

What does it mean when attempting to download a large file when it's continually interrupted with "unknown network error"?

  • I'm trying to download a fairly large file (88 Meg), but every time it's stopping between 2 and 10 Meg in, and telling me there's an "unknown network error", and I have to start all over again. I assume this is because my WiFi is a bit patchy. Is there a utility that allows the download to continue after service interruption rather than having to start the download all over again? Or am I likely having some other problem? I'm using up-to-date Chrome on Windows 7.

But this program can allow you to resume in case the connection is lost. And your problem is a very common one. Over the internet, many people who have had the same problems tried uninstalling their antivirus' and it worked.
