How to decrypt multiple columns?

Excel- merge duplicate/similiar rows keeping data in same columns

• I need help with a macro that will be used to clean up a specific range of data. I have several rows (1872) that are almost duplicates. This is normal and expected due to how the workbook is used. Among these rows also will be several single rows that are not duplicates. It is important that I combine any two duplicates into one row. Example: Column C827 (Name), LAGERSTROEMIA 'TUSCARORA' Column D827 (Spec), MLT Columns F827,G827,H827,I827,J827(Size,Block,Rate,Count) 05GAL 10F B Over 10 Column C828 LAGERSTROEMIA 'TUSCARORA' Column D828 MLT Columns K828,L828,M828,N828,O828 15GAL 12H B Over 50 Column C829 LAGERSTROEMIA 'TUSCARORA' Column D829 MLT Columns P829,Q829,R829,S829,T829 24BOX 14E B Over 50 Column C830 LAGERSTROEMIA 'TUSCARORA' Cell D830 STD Cells F830,G830,H830,I830,J890 05GAL 10F B Over 20 What I need is for all of the unique data in columns C & D to merge into one row, along with all of their corresponding info from columns F - AN. Cell D830 should cause row 830 to stand on its own and not be merged with the others above it, as its data (STD) differs from the data (MLT) in the above cells in Column D, even though Column C (LAGERSTROEMIA 'TUSCARORA') is a match to those above it. It¡¯s important that the data in each column stay within that same column. Also of course it needs to be on the same row with the same item name/spec. I hope I was clear enough- it is late and I have been at this all day! The Columns that determine if it¡¯s a duplicate are C & D. I would need this to be preformed via macro or some easy way. It will be on a Workbook with2003. How can I sort these or accomplish this and maintain the data where it needs to be? Thank you, in advance.

  Lisa, I really can't make head nor tails from what you have posted. If you want to send a workbook I will take a look at it. have two sheets. One, the raw data Another sheet with a few of the entries processed showing what the result is you want and an explanation of why something in unique or not. send it to
