It is a good combination. I recommend themes with magazine structure because you can fill it with content and more than one adsense block (I believe 3 is the max per page, you need to see Adsense rules on this). Can't think of anything better than wordpress for this. Ask around on warrior forum, I'm sure someone will be able to suggest a theme that is particularly well suited to Adsense sites. Just bear in mind that you need a cheap way of getting lots of traffic, or a lot of sites for this to be viable.
