  Hi I live in Durban. Correct, there is a large Indian community in Durban. Durban is the largest Indian city outside India. Durban, in fact, has more overseas Indians than any other city outside of India. The inner city is not the best but if you live in the suburbs around the city, you'll be living in a very comfortable and pretty environment. The cost of living is relative to where you now live. To give you an idea, the exchange rate is currently R10 to the USD ($).
