What are the best practices of newrelic for a php application service without php-fpm/webserver?
-
I found, #newrelic need to be installed as a module in php application. And it needs to start php-fpm / web server to start bringing information to new relic servers. But i have some php services working in the background on my linux box and they are using direct php interpreters to execute my application. So what if php is not tied up with webserver / php-fpm

Answer:
When you install newrelic as php application. It will start recording stats regardless of web server/php-fpm. Since it is tied with php interpreter.
