What to do after submitting application?

When submitting an iOS application to Apple for review and publishing on the App Store, what is the length of time between submittal and availability?

  • The app I'm working on is planned to be marketed at an industry trade show populated by the target audience but the show is only 10 days away and I still need a couple more days to fine tune the app as I'm testing it now. Anyone have experience submitting a request for an expedited review? ---- Submitted today so hopefully someone sees it first thing on Monday.  Just hoping to squeak past review and do a quick update after the fact to cover my butt on finishing touches. Crossing my fingers hoping to make my May 30th release plan.  Will update on the result for the record.

    Check at the source: the App Store Approval Process page, there is a widget that gives you probable duration from submitted to reviewed, i.e. approved or rejected. Follow this link: https://developer.apple.com/appstore/resources/approval/index.html Currently, 99% of new app submissions and updates are approved within 5 business days, i.e. pretty fast.

You should keep minimum 7-10 days. But you are cutting it too close. And remember that apple rejects the app for various reasons. Mine got rejected )-:

Under extreme time restraints I pled my case with Apple, submitted the binary, crossing all my T's and dotting all my I's and Apple hooked me up.  I got reviewed and approved in 1 day.  So now I even have time to do some updates before my deadline.  Yay!  Thanks review guy.
