How To Add Songs To Playlist?

How do you add songs from other playlists to a new playlist in iOS 7?

  • Notice how at the bottom, there is only the option to browse songs by Songs, Artists, Albums, and Composers. This is only when I try to add songs to a playlist; when looking at the Music App normally, I have the "More" option in the lower right.

  • Answer:

: The view you have shown is while browsing / playing music, as the OP says, try the add to playlist view - the four icons at the bottom of the screen are fixed; there is no option to add or edit them. On iOS6 I used to make new playlists based on existing playlists and compilations extensively for my job - this just can't be done in iOS7.  Also, now that I have to keep on jumping back and forth between music player and playlist editor, it defaults back to the 'songs' view every time - not very useful when there are ~6000 songs in the list.  The missing 'add all songs' is the icing on the cake. I really want to go back, the 'enhancements' have made it much harder for me!

Yeah they took away the option to add songs from other playlists. I can only imagine somebody screwed up, because I don't know anybody that accesses their music primarily by the "Composers" tab, but that seems to have replaced the "Playlists" tab. Really, really disappointing. Make sure you tell Apple! http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html
