How to do functional testing for a website?

What does it mean when a company says they offer "website testing" or "testing in the cloud" and how do they do it?

  • I am a first year student studying IT and I am learning about various categories I can enter and I am interested in "website testing" but I am not sure what that actually means? And how is it done?

    Typically it refers to test any changes a developer or programmer made but some companies use these terms to explain what they practice. We do testing of cloud, and we name it Load testing.
