If a user likes a photo album on Facebook - but they are not fans of the page that published the album - will future updates of that album appear on the user's timeline?
-
I'm considering promoting a photo album on Facebook and usually what happens is most people like the album but they don't like the Page. I want to know if these users will still see future updates of that photo album on Facebook, even though they did not like the page.

Answer:
No, they won't get updates unless they Like your page. To allow a page to start spamming you because you liked a photo or album is a door that Facebook does not want to open. A specific "declaration" that you want to get communications from a page is signaled through Liking the page, not a photo or album.
