Has anyone done any research on purchasing season tickets for a major sport and how to maximize the return on investment? Or does anyone have practical advice from their experience?

I know selling some of your tickets can offset costs, but tickets often go for a premium. Which sell for the highest percentage premium, low, mid or high priced tickets. Any thoughts would be helpful.
