What are some good ways to tame a cockatiel?

• hi!i have adpoted a cockatiel yesterday.he/she is just 23 days old.cant eat by itself.i am told by the breeder to feed it cerelac with a http://syringe.as thats my first time i must say thats a really unpleasant work to feed them.this baby was fed by their parents http://before.so.so its really hard for me to feed him and for him as well to get fed with a syringe.i want to know if there is any easier way to feed it?it shows a lot of attraction in http://biscuits.is.is it good for this age?it would be really good if u name of food that needs no syringe and can be appropriate for the chicks age.i want to hand tame it so whats the minimum time i have to spend with it now?actually i try my best to be with it but i am kind of busy with my studies these days.and how should i spend my time with it?i guess it kind of does not like me.when i place it on my hand it keeps preening and does not respond to the words i say to it.i know its gonna take time but i want to make sure what i am doing is right.what should i be doing when we are together?how can we play?i guess it feels lonely as it had been with 2 siblibgs http://before.name.name a few stuffs he can play with in the cage.i knew that birds like to keep quite after the sun sets.should i leave it alone in the cage after the dusk?

  I would recommend that you return the baby to the breeder until the baby is weaned.  Hand feeding a baby takes experience, and shouldn't be tried by someone that doesn't know how.  Alternatively, you could go back to the breeder and have him/her show you how to hand feed, but there are so many issues that could arise that need a practiced eye and hand, that I'm reluctant to offer that as a suggestion.
