    While I didn't apply to graduate school from an Indonesian school, I did apply to undergrad from an Indonesian high school. An Indonesia-specific advice would be to get somebody who spent some time abroad to review your personal statement or essays. College application essays could be very, very different from those taught in high school or Indonesian colleges, and Indonesian mindset could sometimes be incompatible to these. Not to mention that there are things that are exceptionally impressive in Indonesia but are actually quite ordinary in the US.
