How Google adsense works in India? What do I need to do to start using it in my blog?
-
I have a blog on smartphone on http://blogger.com. I wish to display ads on my blog. Also I have SBI bank account and tell me that do I need a credit card to get my earnings from Google AdSense? Or do I have to tell them my bank account number to get the earnings. What are the typical earnings (Rs/month or Rs/year) for a blog on blogger displaying ads through google Adsense? Also what is the difference between the earnings from a blog on blogger vs my own domain website. Google AdSense works on click through rates (CTR). And if I get ad directly from businesses, do I earn by providing ad space, or they still depend on CTRs?

Answer:
I believe Janmejai has already answered your query about payments. Google pays in India via checks. Regarding external ads, it is completely in your control. You can chose to charge whatever way you want . Most beginners charge a flat monthly/yearly fees as tracking click throughs , impressions and filtering fake clicks is way too much of a work.

summarising the answers: you don't need cc, you get a cheque from Google (once your earnings cross $100) typical earnings depend upon the traffic of your site & content on your site - very hard to give an estimate here no difference whether you have a blog on blogger or have a have a self hosted domain - it will still depend upon the traffic to your site/blog again, depends on who you get your ads from - some advertisers/networks sign up on period basis, like mentioned, while mostly others would want to work with some kind of measurable data - clicks / transactions / actions(regn etc) - so, again it depends on deal to deal basis.

You don't need any Credit card or something else as the payment will be done through cheque,No need to share any Bank details. Just Apply for an Adsense account,if they approve your account you will be able to show the ads,Later you will have to verify using a PIN which is send by Google to you when your earnings will reach $10. Minimum Payable amount-$100 Earnings Depend on your Number of Visitors,If you have good number of Visitors you will be able to earn a good amount. Their are lots of blogger using blogger as their blogging platform and are earning a good amount,So earning has nothing to do with this.

Ypur single heading question contains many subquestions... well this doesn't matters...You can get adsense on your blog just by applying for it... all you have to do is just create a blog by going to http://blogger.com but for complete guide for creating it you must go to http://www.doubtsandclears.blogspot.com/ there you will find step by step method to create a blog....Make atleast 20 posts or more make unique posts ( do not try to copy them from anywhere) then apply by going to your blogger's dashboard and then earnings and then apply for it .But if you are new to blogger and you are not using custom domain then you migjt have to wait for 6 months...Next you can have your earnings in any of your centralized account... either sbi or anything... you can also get payments through paypal or by cheque....It is not been cleared yet that how much can you earn... well it is totally dependent on clicks...Get unique visitors daily and might be you will be getting clicks and you will get high earnings....And ignore getting clicks from India and Pakistan ... as the CPC for these countries are less move for USA or Peru clicks....Well adsense on your blog or website do not have any difference but if your website is static may be visitors will not visit your website daily as you might not be having any new content... but blog somehow helps in getting and giving users new and fresh stuff... but as a starter move for blogger. And finally if any problem persists am still here :)
