What is leadership qualities?

What does it mean when you're told you possess 'leadership qualities' and how are they assessed?

  • I came across people from different age groups, mostly above 40. They said "you have leadership qualities". How can they say or see this?

    I'm not quite sure exactly what is the question. It seems to be more of a statement. If mature people are telling you that you have leadership qualities, then that should be taken as a compliment. Also as advice. They're telling you in short version, get out and make use of your talent. Find a role that you are good at, a career where you can display your talent for leadership and be of use in that field of interest. The only way to know if what is being stated to you is true, is for you to go and explore leadership roles in something that you are passionate about in a professional field of work.
